Drum Making Ceremony

The drum making ceremony is a richly fulfilling experience which will meet you at whatever stage of life you are at. People of all ages craft their drums and weave their personal ‘medicine gifts’ into this ancient tool of power.

This is a Wisdom Journey. Over two days we move around the Medicine Wheel and the Four Fires of Knowing. Aligning with their fascinating teachings to help us become more peaceful, joyful, prosperous, and loving people.

We are learning through this process how to hold ourselves, family, friends, and community in the right way - loving, stable, and balanced. And to cultivate more gratitude and reciprocity in our actions.

You will experience spiritual energies and higher guidance which will be carried forward into your life after the ceremony. Many people regard the drum-making ceremony as an initiatory rite of passage, ushering in a higher timeline or new chapter.

Your frame is handmade by Bastian especially for you. In this process, the frame is associated with the Ancestors and spiritual lineages carried by your Soul throughout time.

 Drum makers get to choose the shape of their frame, the animal they wish to work with, and any decorative features such as colouring to the skin and back lacing design. Drum’s made with Bastian are one of a kind.
